Children's Republican Clinical Hospital of Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan is a modern multi-facility of the country, which is combining the functions of the Republican Hospital, a hospital of high technology and hospital ambulance. It is one of the five major children's hospitals the Russian Federation.
The hospital was founded in 1977., Currently has 765 places. The annual volume of admissions was 23-25 thousand patients. Among all hospitalized children in hospitals Republic (and this year about 170 thousand) - one seventh  are  the patients of CRCH.
CRCH consists of 22 clinical departments, including 12 of pediatric profile, 10 - surgical, 4 offices resuscitation and intensive therapy.
Surgical Service More than 70% of all children with surgical pathology of RT are hospitalized at us. This is the  half of all surgical interventions in children in the country. A child cardiosurgery, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, ortolaringologiya, neonatal surgery, maxillo-facial, and thoracic surgery are focus only in CRCH. Emergency care is provided 7 days a week on nearly all types of surgery: abdominal, thoracic, purulent surgery, urology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, and children with laryngeal stenosis. Such concentration of ambulance is not in any medical institution of the country.
Pediatric somatic services consists of  12 departments, which provides assistance to qualified children of Republic of Tatarstan in the following specialties:

     * Endocrinology,
     * Neurology,
     * Hematology,
     * Oncohematology,
     * Nephrology,
     * Allergology,
     * Gastroenterology,
     * Pulmonology.

In 2008, our hospital has received a license of Federal Service for Supervision of Health and Social Development of Moscow for the provision of high-tech kinds of medical assistance to 14 profiles:

     * Neurosurgery;
     * Sudistaya heart surgery;
     * Hematology;
     * Children's Oncology;
     * Abdominal surgery;
     * Children's Urology;
     * Andrology;
     * Pediatric Surgery and endohirurgiya;
     * Neonatology;
     * Otorhinolaryngology;

     * Traumatology and Orthopedics;
     * Neurology.

This is 57.2% of all branches of work.

In 2008 Children's Republican Clinical Hospital of Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan newly obtained federal state order for the provision of high-tech kinds of medical care for cardiovascular and neurosurgery patients, not only our country but also to neighboring regions (Chuvashia, Mariy El, Ulyanovsk region).
CRCH has powerful diagnostic capabilities:

     * Computer and MRI,
     * Modern equipment for the functional, ultrasound, endoscopic studies.

Each year, the hospital introduces new methods of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of sick children.
In the consultative policlinic of CRCH are consulting doctors of 19 specialties, the power of the clinic is 500 visits per day. The annual visits - 150 000. On the base of the clinic operates a day hospital for 30 beds, which is working 2 shifts.

In 2002-2007. Association of Children's Hospital of Russian Federation CRCH was recognized «The best children's hospital in the Russian Federation». In 2008. we won the Republican contest «The medical establishment year».
